Dan popped the question during a romantic trip to Paris, and Rylan later revealed in his book The Life of Rylan how much the event took him by surprise.
Holly Willoughby‘s pal said of the “magical engagement night” that when Dan popped the question, his response was: “‘F**K OFF, C**T, C**T, YOU’RE A C**T ‘and then I hit him in the arm.”
Rylan added: “Seriously this is exactly as it happened. He didn’t know what to say and neither did I. I was just in so much shock… [He thought] Am I on Ant and Dec? Is this a wind-up?”.
But obviously once he’s taken in the news, he said yes as the duo are happily wed now.

He previously told Star magazine: “I look at him [Cameron] like he’s my own. He can talk to me – I’m Dad, but he can talk to me about sex! I’ll say, ‘As long as you’re being safe!'”.
Rylan continued: “If that was Dan, he’d be like, ‘Stop it, Dad!’.”
The beloved star also explained that the married couple are keen to extend the family: “We definitely want kids of our own, but we haven’t gone that far into how we would do it.”
