Phillip Schofield has revealed his uncertainty of Gemma Collins’ Dancing On Ice future.

The TOWIE star, 37, famously pulled out of I’m A Celebrity after only a few days but seems to be enjoying her time on the ice.

However, Phillip is not sure whether viewers will actually get to see The GC perform on the ice when the show returns to screens in January.

Speaking to Mirror Online, Phillip said that Gemma is “something of a quitter” by her own admission.

The This Morning presenter is “thrilled” that Gemma has joined this year’s stellar line-up and hopes she will make it to the first show.

Phillip Schofield is ‘thrilled’ that Gemma Collins will skate on Dancing On Ice

Phillip is not sure whether Gemma will make it

Phillip told us: “Obviously we’ve got Gemma. I’ve said this to her if she makes it to the first show I’ll be really thrilled.

“By her own admission Gemma is something of a quitter when it comes to these sort of things.

“I’m absolutely thrilled that Gemma is doing it.”

Gemam is hoping to reach the final three

Phillip is delighted to be returning to screens alongside This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby for the first time since her I’m A Celebrity stint.

The pair will reunite for the greatest show on ice – and Phil believes ITV bosses have pulled out all the stops for the new series.

He added: “This year we’ve gone for, there aren’t any to my knowledge, any novelty ‘I can’t skate’ skaters.

“Everyone seems to be starting from a higher level this year. The competition will be really tight and fun.”

Gemma has been making diva demands

This comes after Gemma opened up about the diva demands she has already made to staff.

Speaking about her costumes, Gemma said that she had been promised high quality materials for her outfits.

She said: “I’m like Lady Gaga aren’t I? The more over the top the better. I’m working with the costume department really closely. I’ve asked for grade A Swarovski crystals, and as many feathers as they can find. They’re totally on board.”
