Loose Women covered the debate of whether a person should take their husband’s surname on Thursday.
A Loose Women poll claimed that only half of those who took part would take their partner’s surname after marriage.
Andrea McLean, Katie Price, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore discussed their own thoughts on the idea.
While Andrea admitted she will be taking partner Nick Feehey’s surname when they tie the knot soon, Nadia confessed she found it a little old fashioned.
Jane Moore then waded in on the debate, admitting she understood both sides.
But the panellist then made a dig at Cheryl Tweedy, with Liam Payne’s partner only recently going back to her maiden name.

Speaking on the show, Jane said: “The only thing is, I totally get it and I didn’t change my name, but when you have children…
“If you take someone like Cheryl Tweedy she must spend her entire time at the deed poll office.
“Cheryl Tweedy, then Cheryl Cole, then Cheryl Fernandez-Versini – I’m not sure what she is now, maybe Cheryl Payne shortly I don’t know!”
Cheryl, who welcomed a baby boy with Liam earlier this year, dropped her surname after her split from Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
