The hilarious comedian has been confirmed to be hosting the spin-off show alongside Joe Swash and Scarlett Moffatt, after coming runner-up on the show last year.
But since Ant McPartlin‘s stint in a rehabilitation centre to battle his addiction, questions emerged as to whether one half of Ant and Dec would be returning to host the much-loved show down under.
But speaking to OK! Online at the Specsavers’ Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards, Joel Dommett hinted that it would hopefully be both Geordie’s returning to our screens in the next few weeks.
He said: “We head there on November 12th, and then we’re there for the whole thing – which will be weird from the other side.”
Speaking about the return of Ant and Dec, he said: “They’re good guys – and it’ll be fun to be with them and not eating something disgusting.
“It’ll be nice to hang out with them and not be eating a goat’s d**k.”
According to The Sun Online Charlotte Crosby will be following in her former Geordie Shore co-star’s footsteps as she bags herself a place in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle [Wenn]
Speculation over who might take Ants place should he not return to the show had been rife for months – and the latest name to join the ranks is Love Island host Caroline Flack.
Paddy Power told the Daily Star: “Usually, Z-list celebrities are scrambling to appear on I’m A Celebrity as contestants – but now it seems like a top job might be available.
“Caroline might have copped a lot of Flack for her time fronting X Factor, but her experience on Love Island should serve her well for going Down Under.”
However, the Daily Mail has reported that a source close to the show has insisted that Ant WILL be returning to screens later this year.
According to the publication, the 41 year old has no plans to give up his spot on the popular series.
